Head – Brand & Reputation, Marketing and Strategy- Google India I Lead singer of the Band “Mid Life Crisis”
Sujatha has a work experience of over 20 years, largely in the field of Marketing, and has worked
extensively in all key areas, such as Brand development, Launch strategy, Category Management, Retail
strategy and promotions, Creating Advertising, Consumer behavior, Client Engagement, Market Research
and In-market implementation of Programs.
She currently works at Google India as Head – Brand & Reputation, Marketing, and Strategy and has been
here since February 2018. Prior to this, she worked at The Coca-Cola Company and since 2011. She
started as Category Director – Coca-Cola and headed the Brand until April 2014. During this period, she
worked to shape the brand and creative strategy of making the Coca-Cola promise of “Being the Happiness
Icon” relevant for India. This brought the brand to a strong volume growth, making it the fastest growing
brand in the Portfolio. She then moved to become Director – Category Marketing & Corporate Brand. With
the beverage category growing, she focused on Category Marketing & Growth, Defense, and Advocacy for
our products and business.
She started her career as Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble in Bangkok, Thailand, and has
since gathered rich work experience in Sales and Marketing across companies such as Gillette, Nokia, and
The Royal Bank of Scotland in India.
Apart from work, her extra-curricular passion is music. She is the lead singer of the Band “Mid Life Crisis”
(a band comprising of people from the corporate world who have a passion for music), and performs in
concerts around NCR. Their last shows were in Hard Rock Café Delhi and Gurgaon. In addition, last year,
she took part in the Indian adaptation of the Broadway Musical “Mamma Mia”, where she was the voice of
the lead actress Donna.
Sujatha is married and lives in Gurgaon with her husband, Pawan, and their two children – Manas (17 years
old) and Sanaa (10 years old).
