Kaveree Bamzai is an independent journalist. She was the first, and so far, only woman editor of India Today, where she was employed till January 2019. A recipient of the Chevening Scholarship, she has worked in The Times of India and The Indian Express before this. A graduate of the Delhi School of Economics, she has spoken at several media forums. She is the author of Bollywood Today, and two monographs in the Zubaan series on Women in Indian Film. She is on several committees, among them the Women Examplar Committee of CII, and is recognised as a changemaker by Save The Children charity. She lives in Delhi with her journalist husband, two sons and two dogs. Her new book, No Regrets: The Guilt-Free Woman’s Guide to a Happy Life (HarperCollins), will be out soon.
